ALPHA 2000 HVAC Air Treatment System
ALPHA HVAC AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM
The ALPHA HVAC systems are designed to eliminate sick building syndrome risks by reducing odors, air pollutants, and cold and virus causing germs through UV/O3 Catalytic Oxidation.  The HVAC system is easily mounted into air conditioning and heating system air ducts where most sick building problems exist.  When the HVAC system is in operation the ALPHA HVAC creates the UV/O3 Catalytic Oxidation process to reduce the airborne contaminants.
WHY USE UV/O3 CATALYTIC OXIDATION?
Germicidal UV light rays have been used for decades by the medical industry as a method for destroying micro-organism (germs, viruses, bacteria) UV light is dependable and can be easily installed in HVAC ducts or a plenum.  Germicidal UV light is effective in reducing airborne micro-organisms that pass through the light rays.  However, germicidal UV light has little or no effect on gases, vapors or odors.
Ozone, on the other hand, is very effective on gases, vapors and odors.  However, too much ozone can be irritating and traditional methods of producing ozone (corona discharge) have maintenance problems and create nitric acid and nitric oxide.  The combination of ozone (O3) and UV light develops a catalytic oxidation that creates and also destroys ozone.  By engineering the proper light wave length and a dual function, no maintenance UV/O3 probe, we have effectively designed a system that will not exceed the recommended Federal safety limits for ozone (0.04 ppm) in an occupied room.
With the ALPHA HVAC Catalytic Oxidation System, microorganisms can be reduced by over 90%, gases and odors neutralized, and the room will have levels no greater than the forest air or air after a thunderstorm, which will give the room fresh, clean sanitized and odor free air.  In addition, passive negative ionization will occur to produce airborne negative ions for on-going purification.
The ALPHA HVAC unit size is scaled to accommodate the various flow rates of different HVAC systems.
